Mark Ronson says he won't by DJing at Suri Cruise's second birthday party, contrary to rumours.

The Brit Award-winning musician previously took to the wheels of steel at Tom and Katie's wedding but he says the recent story was a press fabrication: "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard... I DJ'd Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's wedding and I guess somebody just thought it would be a funny story to make up.

"Could you imagine the inappropriateness of really loud music at a two-year-old's birthday party? It's just unbelievable."

Having achieved chart success with his album, Version, Ronson seems to have cut back on the DJ work. "I haven't been DJing bar-mitzvahs or weddings or birthdays lately," he said.

Don't rule it out, Mark. Such is the transient nature of chart success, you might need something to fall back on.
