THE CHOIRBOYS 'THE CHOIRBOYS'

Mums and Grans beware, that CD shaped present in your stocking might not be that nice James Blunt fellow after all this Christmas. It could be these three young angels instead.
Just when you thought record companies couldn't find talent any younger along come Ben, Patrick and CJ who have been dubbed the 'Junior Three Tenors.' They were the winners of a nationwide search that took talent scouts to nearly 50 cathedrals and churches all over the country. In reality their style sounds more like the Mini-pops at Sunday school.
Their debut album features a comforting mix of traditional choral music such as Allegri's Miserere and Bach's Ave Maria along with sentimental renditions of contemporary(ish) pop hits such as the inevitable Walking In The Air and Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven (which becomes even more tragic knowing the song was written about Clapton's toddler son who died). TV fans may also recognise the themes of TV shows Mr Bean and The Vicar Of Dibley. An album that'll warm the cockles of even the coldest heart.
