Forget the immature spats with 50 Cent, Ja Rule has returned to what he does best. Wonderful is 70 per cent R&B with R Kelly lending the track his unique, soulful tones alongside Ashanti's equally warm and stylish vocals.

The pair's singing and the slow and sexy beat is perfectly offset by Ja Rule's gruff delivery as he ponders his lot with rare insecurity: "Gotta keep ya cash comin' and that's on my life/If it wasn't for the money and the things I got/S**t, she probably wouldn't like me" being particularly candid.

A classy return to form.
